| The most common solution to display simple text messages. Character LCD modules are available in TN, STN, FSTN, FFSTN technology, positive or reverse mode, Reflective, Transmissive or Transflective with mono or RGB LEDs backlight
The displays are monochrome, dot matrix configured to visualize alphanumeric characters on 1 to 4 rows of up to 40 characters per row. The various colours LEDs options for backlighting and the possibilities of getting positive or reverse mode are providing a wide range of visual-optical results.
